Management

Sarah-Jane Hounsell is the full-time Manager of Intervene Project. Sarah-Jane Hounsell commenced her role in September 2022 after volunteering with Evie from May 2022. She undertook her LLB at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge and her dual Bar Practice Course & LLM at City Law School after an extensive career in Accountancy & Finance. Previously, Sarah-Jane worked for a large independent advocacy charity who work to ensure the most vulnerable members of our society have a voice. During this time, she was astounded to learn prisoners were being excluded from parts of the Care Act 2014, in particular safeguarding. Hence, she was drawn to the project and through her role as manager continues her predecessors work with prisoners to ensure they are safeguarded, receive the healthcare they are entitled to and ensures their rights are upheld.
